Casa Duro has recently been improved with tender care to provide comfortable accommodation in an easily accessible location with plenty of parking. It also has a fabulous terrace where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the stunning views of the Lake of Andalucia.

The house is situated in a side street with the front door leading directly into the sitting room and dining area. It is well furnished with two very comfortable armchairs and a 3 seater sofa/bed. The dining table is expandable. There is also large picture window to enjoy the view of the lake from the arm chairs. To the right of the entrance to the kitchenette there is a walk-in cupboard under the stairs where coats can be hung and the iron and ironing board are stored. There is Spanish TV with remote control, air conditioning and a number of games and books. There is also an electric heater for those chill winter evenings.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob, plus a microwave. A large window over the worktop and cooker overlooks the lake.
A marble staircase leads up to a bathroom with bath and shower unit, bidet, WC and vanity wash basin unit. Next to this is the master bedroom with twin beds, built in wardrobes and shelving and a small balcony. To save going down the stairs in the morning there is also a teasmaid at the bedside. Opposite the bathroom is the other bedroom which has a pair of bunk beds, two chest of drawers and built in shelving. A door leads from this room up another staircase to the terrace. Both bedrooms have electric heaters.
The area immediately at the top of the stairs is covered for shade but is open to the side allowing that fabulous view to be enjoyed. To one side is a small room where there is a sink, washing machine, small fridge and microwave. There is also a small cupboard with cutlery and crockery all to hand for eating and drinking al fresco. A retractable washing line has been discretely sited on the wall. There is a table with a parasol for shade and chairs situated on the open area of the terrace and sunloungers for relaxing and, indeed, why not enjoy cooking on the gas BBQ.
A great house for a family or four friends to enjoy being part of the local colourful Spanish way of life and literally just around the corner from the shops, bars and restaurants. There are plenty of parking spaces outside the front, or down the side of the house even on fiesta days. You could, if you are feeling energetic, walk to the beach where you can chill out at the bar/restaurant, take a swim in the lake or paddle a canoe. A lot of the local ladies do this walk every morning for exercise but they don't stop at the bar! If you prefer there is a public swimming bath within sight of the house from the terrace, so again, if you wish to cool off it is within easy walking distance.
