A delightful Spanish house offering extremely comfortable accommodation. A stable door leads into the sitting/dining area with sofa, TV and DVD, dining table and chairs and an original open fireplace for the chilly evenings in the winter. The well equipped kitchen is situated off this room and has a 4 ring gas hob plus electric oven, air extractor, tall fridge freezer and a microwave. The flavour of a typical Spanish kitchen has been kept utilising the original features to a really good standard and there is the bonus of a second front door leading straight out onto the patio to the front of the house. At the other end of the lounge is the downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower. Next to this is a striking double bedroom. All bedrooms have hanging space and drawer units. There are two flights of stairs. One leads to the master double bedroom and the other leads to another double bedroom one side of the staircase and to the other side a large bedroom consisting of 3 single beds plus an extra mattress to cater for the 10th person. All bedrooms have fans. Both downstairs and upstairs have beamed ceilings and the colour scheme throughout has been well thought out reflecting the amount of care and attention given to the house.
Across the patio from the main front door is a small outhouse with washing machine, drying rails and store of plastic chairs and sunloungers. The parking space to the left is large enough for 4 cars and there is a censor light. To the right the patio widens out to accommodate a table and chairs for those many 'al fresco' meals overlooking the lovely views over the valley, and behind is a bar with basin for washing glasses and barbeque with a pergola for shade. Lots of sunbathing areas surrounding the well designed pool (10m x 5m) which has railings around for safety. NB no photos at present for bar area as still under construction (Jan 2007). The surrounding fenced garden will be stunning when planting of flowers in pots and shrubs is complete and the other side of the fencing there are olive trees through which to enjoy an evening stroll.
The nearest shop is at the petrol station on the A333 just a 5 minute drive away where they sell hot bread! There you will also find the nearest bar/restaurant. Iznajar is a 10 minute drive with pharmacies, shops, banks, butchers, minimarkets and bars with larger supermarkets (Mercadona) to be found in Archidona and Rute about 20 minutes in either direction. There are many good bars and restuarants around including one on the beach just outside Iznajar. An Information Book is provided in the house.
